Our Mission is to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Educate until every dog has a loving and safe place to call home. We believe we can, and we will see an end to dog homelessness and abuse through legislative efforts, hard work and strategic partnerships near and far. We will never give up and we will never back down from the needs of all heartbeats because every life matters.
​Dog of the Month!
When you first meet 2-year-old Khalessi, she might be a little reserved. Just quietly observing and making sure you're someone she can trust. But once that trust is there? She'll roll right onto her back and patiently wait for those belly rubs she loves! Found as a stray in the Redlands - a known dumping ground in Florida, Khalessi was rescued and brought to Big Dog Ranch Rescue for a new beginning. She's timid, gentle and gets along well with other dogs, choosing to mind her own business.
